The Short Version
We use almost no cookies, and none of them track you.
There are no advertising cookies on our sites. No Google Analytics. No Facebook pixel. No TikTok pixel. No data broker tags. Nothing that follows you or your child to another website.
That is not a temporary configuration. It is a design decision, and on the pages children use it is a legal requirement we have chosen to meet by removing the problem rather than managing it.
Because we set no advertising or tracking cookies, we do not show you a cookie consent banner. There is nothing to consent to.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between page loads — that you are logged in, that you turned the sound off, that you are in the middle of a form.
Related technologies do similar things: local storage and session storage keep data in your browser, pixels are tiny invisible images that report back when loaded, and software development kits (SDKs) are third-party code embedded in a site or game. Where this Policy says “cookies,” it means all of these.
Cookies are described in two ways. First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting — us. Third-party cookies are set by some other company whose code is running on the page. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
We use first-party cookies only. We set no third-party cookies anywhere on our Services.
2. Why Our Children’s Pages Have Stricter Rules
Our books, games, videos, and activities are made for children under 13. That means the children’s areas of our Services are “directed to children” under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and the FTC’s COPPA Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 312.
Under that Rule, a persistent identifier — including an advertising cookie or an SDK identifier — is personal information when collected from a child. Setting one would require verifiable parental consent, and if the identifier were passed to a third party it would require a separate parental consent that we could not condition access on.
There is an important consequence that is worth stating plainly: a cookie banner cannot solve this. A child clicking “Accept” is not consent under COPPA. No banner design produces valid consent on a site for three-to-eight-year-olds.
So we do not have the problem. We removed every third-party tag, tracker, pixel, advertising network, and behavioral analytics service from the children’s areas. That is the only configuration that is both fully compliant and honest to a parent, and it happens to be the simplest one to operate.
3. Every Cookie We Use
This is the complete list.
3.1 Children’s areas — championmvp.com children’s pages, games.sportsmedia.us

That is all. No analytics identifier. No advertising cookie. No third-party cookie of any kind.
None of these cookies contains a name, an email address, or anything else that identifies a child. None is used to build a profile. None is shared with anyone.
3.2 Adult areas — parent, educator, licensing, ordering, and blog pages

Payment pages. If you place an order, our payment processor may set cookies strictly necessary to complete and secure the transaction. Those are governed by the processor’s own policy, which we will identify at the point of sale.
3.3 Server logs
Separately from cookies, our web servers keep standard access logs recording the IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. We use these only for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing errors. We delete them within 30 days. We do not use them to identify individuals or build profiles.
4. What We Do Not Use
We want this to be unambiguous, so here is the list of things that are not present anywhere on our Services:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any Google advertising product
- Meta or Facebook Pixel, and any Instagram or WhatsApp tracker
- TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or X advertising pixels
- Any advertising network, ad exchange, ad SDK, or demand-side platform
- Any data broker, identity graph, or data enrichment tag
- Any session-recording, heatmap, or mouse-tracking tool
- Any cross-device or cross-site tracking technology
- Any fingerprinting technique
- Any behavioral or profiling analytics
- Any social media share or “like” button that loads third-party code
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no advertising business model attached to these Services.
5. Embedded Video
Some pages embed video hosted elsewhere. Where we embed YouTube video, we use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set tracking cookies unless and until you press play. Where we can, we host video ourselves so no third party is involved at all.
If you watch our videos on YouTube directly, rather than embedded on our site, YouTube collects information about you under Google’s privacy policy, not ours. Our children’s videos on YouTube are designated “Made for Kids,” which disables personalized advertising, comments, notifications, and live chat on those videos. We have no further control over what YouTube does on its own platform.
The same applies to any of our books you buy on Amazon — Amazon’s cookies and privacy policy govern there, not ours.
6. Your Choices
You do not need to do anything. There is nothing on our sites to opt out of.
That said, you remain fully in control:
Browser settings. Every major browser lets you see, block, and delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent forms and games from working correctly, but it will not prevent you from reading our pages.

- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Global Privacy Control. We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other universal opt-out preference signals. When your browser sends a GPC signal, our servers detect it on the incoming request and treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale of personal information and of processing for targeted advertising, applied immediately to that browser for as long as the signal is sent. We do not require an account and we do not ask you to confirm it.
Because we do not sell personal information or run targeted advertising, honoring the signal does not change how we handle your data — you are already opted out by default whether or not you send a signal. We detect and honor it so that remains true if our practices ever change. You can learn about GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Do Not Track. There is no consistent industry standard for Do Not Track headers. We do not respond to DNT specifically, but our practices already meet what DNT asks for.
7. Why There Is No Cookie Banner
Some visitors expect a banner. Here is why you will not see one.
United States law does not require a cookie banner. What state privacy laws require is notice at collection, an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and honoring universal opt-out signals. We provide the notice on this page, we have nothing to sell or share, and we honor GPC.
A banner asking permission to set trackers we do not set would be theater. Worse, on a site used by young children it would be misleading, because a child’s click could never have supplied valid consent in the first place.
If we ever introduce a non-essential cookie on the adult pages, we will present a genuine consent choice before setting it, with “Reject All” exactly as prominent and as easy as “Accept All,” and we will update this Policy first. We will never introduce advertising or behavioral tracking on the children’s pages.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will update this Policy whenever our use of cookies changes, and we will change the “Last Updated” date at the top. If we ever add a cookie category that is not strictly necessary, we will give notice on the Services before it takes effect.
