Community Partnerships

Put the Champion MVP library into schools, leagues, and libraries in your community — sponsored by your business, with your name on every book.

The cheapest way to reach a family is to show up before the season starts

Sports Media, Inc. has spent four decades inside community sports — leagues, high schools, clubs, and the local businesses that fund them. We know what a banner on an outfield fence is worth, and we know what it is not worth.

A book is different. A family keeps it. It sits on a shelf in a child’s room for years, gets read a hundred times, and carries your name every single time. It goes home in a backpack instead of staying at the field. And it arrives at the moment a parent is deciding whether they can afford to sign their kid up at all.

That is what these partnerships are built around.

Who we partner with

🏦
Local & regional businesses
Credit unions, banks, health systems, pediatric and orthodontic practices, sporting goods retailers, insurance agencies, grocers, and utilities — the businesses whose customers are families with young children.
Leagues, clubs & rec departments
Add the library to your registration package or your end-of-season awards, funded by a sponsor rather than by your budget.
🏫
Schools, districts & libraries
When the budget is not there, a community sponsor is often the fastest path to getting materials into classrooms.
🤝
Foundations & community funds
Youth development, early literacy, and physical activity are fundable priorities, and a books-into-classrooms program is one of the cleanest grant stories there is.
🏢
Corporate giving programs
A defined, local, measurable place to put community dollars, with a distribution event your employees can show up for.

How a sponsorship works

📐
You choose the footprint
A team, a school, a league, a district, or every elementary school in your service area. We will help you size it against what you want to spend.
📦
We produce and deliver
Books arrive where you want them, with your business named on a sponsor bookplate in every copy.
📸
You get the moment
A distribution event at a school assembly, a season kickoff, or a league registration night — with your team there, handing books to kids. That is the photograph, and it is worth more than the fence banner.
📊
You get the report
How many books, which schools and leagues, how many families. Real numbers you can put in a community report or a grant close-out.

Sponsorship levels

🧢
Team sponsor
A complete three-book set for every child on a team.
📚
Classroom sponsor
The full eight-sport library for a classroom or a school library.
🏟️
League or school sponsor
Materials across an entire league or building, with recognition on every copy and at your distribution event.
🌟
Presenting sponsor
Your business named across the program in a defined region — every school, league, and library in your territory, for a season or a year.

We do not publish a rate card, because the right number depends on the footprint and we would rather quote you honestly than anchor you to a number that does not fit. Tell us the community you want to reach and what you have to work with, and we will come back with something real.

Why access is the point

Cost is the fastest-growing reason children stop playing sports. The households feeling that pressure hardest are the least likely to have a shelf of sports books at home, and the most likely to have a child who is nervous about walking onto a field for the first time.

A sponsorship puts the material exactly where it is needed and removes the price from the conversation. The family is not being sold anything. They are being given something, by a business in their own town, at a moment that matters to them.

That is a different kind of brand relationship than an impression, and it lasts a great deal longer.

What we ask of partners

We publish for young children, and the standard is non-negotiable. We do not accept sponsorship from alcohol, tobacco, vaping, cannabis, gambling, or firearms businesses, or from any business whose products are unsuitable for a young audience.

Sponsor recognition is a name and a logo on a bookplate and at an event. We do not put advertising inside the books, we do not collect family data for sponsors, and we do not sell or share information about any child or family with anyone. Ever. See our Privacy Policy.

Every partner is a named business standing behind a program, not an advertiser buying an audience. That distinction is why parents trust it.

Working with public agencies

Sports Media, Inc. is a Colorado corporation registered as a federal contractor, with a CAGE code and UEI on file, and we contract with public education entities, municipalities, and youth agencies. Purchase orders, W-9s, insurance certificates, and state student data privacy agreements are all routine for us. Tell us what your procurement process requires.

Tell us about your community and what you want to accomplish

We will tell you honestly what it would take and whether we are the right fit.
